AQSh Davlat kotibining Qoradoriga qarshi xalqaro kurash bo'yicha muovini Vilyam Braunfild Bishkekda Qirg'iziston prezidenti Roza Otunbayeva, Bosh vazir Almazbek Atambayev va boshqa rasmiylar bilan uchrashdi.

Chegara nazorati, ichki ishlar xodimlari malakasini oshirish, harbiy almashinuvlar, texnik yordam va xavfsizlik masalalari ustida gap ketdi.

"Ikki davlat uzoq yillardan beri bu borada hamkorlik qilib kelayapti va uni davom ettiramiz, kengaytiramiz", - deydi Braunfild.

"Bugungi muzokarada Markaziy Osiyoning besh respublikasini hamda Rossiya va Afg'onistonni qamrovchi mintaqaviy rejani muhokama qilib oldik", - deydi diplomat.

"Qirg'iziston - geografiya qurboni. Janubda dunyoning eng yirik geroin makoni joylashgan bo'lsa, shimolda uning eng yirik iste'molchisi. Bu regional muammo va unga regional yechim topish kerak. Bizning hukumatimiz bu borada ko'maklashishga tayyor", - deydi AQSh Davlat kotibi muovini.

Diplomat ishlab chiqaruvchi deb Afg'onistonga, iste'molchi deya Rossiya va Yevropaga ishora qilmoqda.

Rasmiy deydiki, o'tgan besh yil ichida Afg'onistonda Markaziy Osiyo orqali olib o'tilayotgan qoradori hajmi va oqimi oshgan. Afyun va geroin ishlab chiqarish ancha kamaygan, deydi u, ammo qoradori savdosi hamon chaqqon.

Savdogarlar ko'rinmas, murakkab bir tizimga ega. Ulardan foyda olayotganlarni tutish va jazolash hukumatlardan kuchli siyosiy iroda talab qiladi. Deyarli har bir respublikada amaldorlar orasida qoradori savdosiga aralashganlar bor deya taxmin qilinadi.

Amerika bu kurashda BMT Qoradoriga qarshi idorasi (UNODC) va Markaziy Osiyo Mintaqaviy Informatsiya va Koordinatsiya Markazi (CARIICC) rolini oshirish kerak deb chiqmoqda.

Vilyam Braunfild Qirg'izistondan Tojikistonga yo'l olgan va Afg'oniston bilan chegaradosh Sho'robod tumanida yangi tekshiruv punkti ochilish marosimida qatnashgan.
