Qirol Abdulla ham betob. Vafot etsa, uning o'rniga shahzoda Nayaf o'tirishi kutiladi. U hozir ichki ishlar vaziri va bosh vazir o'rinbosari.

Saudiya Arabistoni valiahdi Sulton bin Abdul Aziz vafot etgan. Qirollik uning qayerda o’lganini ochiq aytmasa-da, 85 yoshdan oshgan shahzoda Nyu-York kasalxonasida ekani ma’lum edi. U uzoq yillar davomida saraton bilan olishdi.

Sulton bin Abdul Aziz Saudiya qirol Abdullaning o’gay ukasi. Keksa hukmdor vafot esa, uning o’rnini, ancha qarib qolgan bo’lsa-da, Abdul Aziz egallashi kutilayotgan edi.

Oxirgi yillarda har ikkisi betob ekan, valiahd masalasi nozik masalaga aylandi.

Riyodda bu borada hech kim og’iz ocha olmaydi, lekin ko’pchilik nazarida kelgusi qirol - 78 yoshli shahzoda Naif. U ichki ishlar vaziri, shuningdek, bosh vazir o’rinbosari.

Shahzoda Naif qiroldan ham ulamolarga yaqinligi bilan tanilgan. Bu esa nafaqat mamlakatda balki xorijda ham xavotir uyg’otadi.

87 ga kirgan qirol Abdulla islohotlarni olg’a surgan. Dunyoning eng yopiq jamiyatlaridan biri nisbatan erkinlashgan. Xotin-qizlar nihoyat ovoz bera olishi mumkin degan umid bor.

Amerika - Saudiya Arabistonining yaqin ittifoqdoshi. Kim qirollikka kelishidan qat’iy nazar bu strategik hamkorlikka putur yetmaydi, deydi siyosatdonlar.

Sulton bin Abdul Aziz seshanba kuni vatanida dafn etiladi.

Vashington, London va boshqa poytaxtlarda rahbarlar Saudiya Arabistoniga hamdardlik bildirib, marhumni usta siyosatchi, mintaqa tinchligi uchun joy kuydirgan, G’arb bilan aloqalarni mustahkamlashda muhim hissa qo’shgan shaxs deya yodga olinmoqda.

Ko'p-xotinli sultondan 32 farzand va o'nlab nevara-evara qoldi.
