Obama: Hujumkor qurollarni taqiqlash kerak

Amerika Ovozi
Konnektikut shtatidagi fojiadan besh kun o’tib, prezident Barak Obama Kongressdan hujumkor qurollarni man etishni so’ramoqda.

14-dekabr kuni Sendi Xuk nomidagi boshlang’ich maktabda ro’y bergan voqea mamlakat tarixidagi eng qonlilaridan. Qatliomda 26 kishi halok bo’lgan, 20 nafari 6-7 yoshdagi bolalar.

Ikkinchi muddatini boshlayotgan Obama qurol nazoratini kuchaytirish uchun prezident vakolatini to’la ishga solishini aytdi. 2013-yilning yanvariga qolmasdan Kongressga bir qator konkret takliflar yuboriladi. Vitse-prezident Jo Bayden bu harakatlarga bosh-qosh bo’ladi.

“Maktabdagi fojiaga nima yetaklagani bizga noma’lum, lekin shuni bilamizki, qurollar bilan bog’liq zo’ravonlik har kuni kimnidir hayotdan olib ketadi. Jamiyat uchun naqadar dahshatli bu. Buning oldini olish uchun barchamiz mas’ulmiz”, - deydi prezident.

Vakillar Palatasida ko’pchilikni tashkil etuvchi respublikachilar va ularning tarafdorlari nazarida qurolga egalik huquqi konstitutsiya bilan kafolatlangan. Hukumatning cheklov qo’yishga haqqi yo’q, deydi tashabbusga qarshi chiqayotgan qonunchilar.

Obamaning demokrat safdoshlari harbiy turdagi, sig’imi katta avtomatik qurollar savdosini taqiqlashga qaratilgan loyihalar ustida ish boshlagan.

Ovora bo’lib o’tirmang, baribir ovozdan o’tmaydi, deya javob beradi aksar respublikachilar.

Oq uydan so’zlagan Barak Obama muammo qonunlar bilangina hal bo’lmaydi, dedi. Ruhiy muolaja markazlarini ko’paytirish va bu muassasalarda davolanishni osonlashtirish kerak, deydi u.

Konnektikut shtatining Nyutaun shaharchasida motam. Shahar ahli fojiada halok bo’lgan o’qituvchilar, go’daklar bilan vidolashmoqda.

20-yoshli Adam Lanza avval uyda o’z onasini otgan. So’ngra qurollar bilan maktabga kelib, sinfma-sinf hammaga hujum qilgan.
