BMT qochqinlar agentligi Tailand hukumatini birmalik musulmon muhojirlarni vataniga qaytarmaslikka undayapti.

BMT rasmiysi Vivian Tan so’zlariga ko’ra, Rakxain shtatidagi mazhablararo zo’ravonlik va ta’qibdan qochgani aytilayotgan bu oilalar vatanida jazolanishi mumkin. Xalqaro tashkilot mutasaddilari bugun qochqinlar bilan ko’rishishga va asl vaziyatni aniqlashga urinib ko’radi, deydi Tan.

Tailand hukumati kecha 73 immigrant, jumladan, ayollar va bolalarni Birmaga jo’natishini ma’lum qilgan edi. Ular shu hafta Puket shahrida qo’lga tushgan. Bu insonlar qayiqda Malayziyaga yetib olishga uringani aytiladi.

Tailand qo’shni davlatlardan muhojir ishchilarni qabul qilishga xohish bildirmay keladi. Dengizda qochqinlar qo’lga tushgan hollarda esa ularga kiyim-bosh va yegulik uzatib, yo’lida davom etishiga ijozat beradi.

Bu siyosat, ko’pincha, ayanchli oqibatlarga yetaklaydi. 2008 va 2009-yillarda Tailand tevaragida birmalik yuzlab qochqinlar cho’kib o’lgani taxmin qilinadi.

Birmaning g’arbida buddistlar va musulmonlar o’rtasidagi adovat o’nlab odamni hayotdan olib ketgan. Yuz minglab fuqarolar uyidan bosh olib ketishni ma’qul topgan.

Bu orada, AQSh va BMT Birma hukumatini Kachin shtatiga havodan zarba berishni bas qilishga chaqirmoqda. Harbiy kampaniya mamlakatda kechayotgan islohotlarga tahdiddir, deydi Davlat departamenti matbuot kotibi Viktoriya Nuland.

Vashington Birma rahbariyatining kuch qo’llash siyosatidan xavotirda va tomonlarni muzokaraga da’vat etadi, deydi u. BMT Bosh kotibi Pan Gi Mun aholi hayotini xavf ostiga qo’yuvchi har qanday harakatdan tiyilishga chorlamoqda.

Birma hukumati va isyonchilar qonli to’qnashuvlar avj olganida bir-birini ayblaydi. 17 yillik sulh 2011-yilda buzilgan, shundan beri ora sovuq. O’n minglab odamlar uy-joyini tashlab chiqqan.

Shimoldagi elatlar, xususan, rahbariyatni bosimda, ozchilik millatlarni ezib tahqirlashda ayblaydi va ko’proq muxtoriyat talab qilib kurashmoqda.

Huquq faollari nazarida Birma prezidenti Teyn Seynning tinchlikni saqlashga da’vatlari yetarli emas. Qurolli olishuvlar kuchaygani sari davlat rahbarining armiyaga so’zi o’tmayapti, degan tanqidlar yangramoqda.
