AQSh Mudofaa vazirligi matbuot kotibi Jon Kirbi ta'kidlashicha, 2021-yilning avgust oyida Tolibondan qochgan afg'on havo kuchlari O'zbekiston va Tojikistonga uchib borgan samolyot va vertolyotlar qaytarilmaydi. Kirbi "Amerika Ovozi" bergan savolga shunday javob berdi.

Tolibon bu boradagi talablarini oxirgi paytlarda balandroq ovozda ayta boshlagan. Ammo Kobuldagi muvaqqat hukumatga ko'ra, O'zbekiston va Tojikiston bilan muloqot samimiy va aloqalar ijobiy, ya'ni Tolibon Toshkent va Dushanbe bilan bu masalani deb orani buzishni istamaydi.

Bu davlatlarga olib borilgan samolyot va vertolyotlar ichida Amerika afg'on havo kuchlariga bergan vositalar bo'lsa, Pentagonga ko'ra, Tolibon ularni olishga umid qilmasligi kerak.

Qo'shni davlatga qochgan afg'on zobitlari, jumladan harbiy uchuvchilar o'tgan yilning kuzida Amerikaga evakuatsiya qilingan.

"Biz bu masala ustida ishlayapmiz. Sizga yakuniy qarorlar xususida biror yangilik bera olmayman. Lekin bir narsani aniq aytishim mumkin, bu vositalar Afg'onistonga Tolibon ishlatishi uchun yuborilmaydi", - deydi Kirbi.

Tolibon Amerika tomonidan Afg'onistonning rasmiy hukumati deya tan olinmagan.

Bayden ma'muriyati Tolibondan inson huquqlari va fuqaro erkinliklarini ta'minlashni talab qilmoqda. Afg'onistonda xalqqa bu harakat qanday munosabatda ekanini kuzatayotgan AQSh hukumati hozirgi vaziyatdan norozi.

Pentagon uchun asosiy vazifa AQSh xavfsizligini ta'minlash, deya eslatadi Kirbi. Afg'onistondan biror terror tahdidi bo'lmasligi lozim. Shu bois ham kontrterrorizm choralariga e'tibor katta, deydi rasmiy.
