- Uzbekistan's fashion designers unveiled their latest collections in Washington on April 4 at an event hosted by their country's embassy. Crafted from Uzbek silk and ikat and featuring ethnic embroidery, these unique garments have also been showcased in other Western countries. VOA spoke with Gedalia Vera from Inside Look Media, who collaborated with the group to organize the show.
