G'arb davlatlari Pokistonga yordamni oshirmoqda

BMT Bosh Assambleyasining kechagi yig’ilishida toshqinlar bilan yuzlashayotgan Pokistonga yordamni oshirishga kelishib olingan.

AQSh 150 million dollarga teng ko’mak berishga ahd qilgan.

Bosh kotib Pan Gi Mun xalqaro hamjamiyatga murojaat qilib, har bir daqiqa g’animat deya eslatgan.

Pan Gi Mun hafta boshida Pokistonda bo’lib, sel kelgan hududlarni ko’zdan kechirgan edi.

“Qishloqma-qishloq yurib faqat dahshatga guvoh bo’ldim”,- deydi u. “Ko’cha, ko’prik, uy-joy… Hammasi yuvilib ketgan. Ekinzor va chorva butunlay nobud bo’lgan. Inson borki, tirik qolish uchun kurashmoqda”,- deya tasvirlaydi BMT Bosh kotibi.

Pokiston Tashqi ishlar vaziri Shoh Mahmud Qurayshiy “mamlakatim bu qadar shafqatsiz tabiiy ofatni hech qachon ko’rmagan”,- deydi.

“Biz toshqin jabrdiydalariga yordam berish uchun jon-jahdimiz bilan harakat qilayapmiz, lekin ofatni yengish juda qiyin kechmoqda. U hali ham davom etmoqda”,- deydi vazir. “Kuchimiz yetmayapti, bizga yordam bering”,- deya so’ramoqda u.

Pokistonning katta qismida uch haftadirki tinimsiz yomg’ir yog’moqda. Kelasi ikki hafta ham ahvol shu bo’ladi, deydi mutaxassislar.

Toshqinlardan 20 million kishi zarar ko’rgan. BMT ularga qarash uchun kamida yarim milliard dollar kerak deb e’lon qilgan.

Amerika har tomonlama madad ko’rsatishga tayyor, deydi Davlat kotibasi Xillari Klinton. “Qutqaruv ishlarida, tibbiy, texnik, nima kerak bo’lsa yetkazamiz”,- deydi u.

Britaniya 100 million, butun Yevropa Ittifoqi esa 180 million dollarga teng yordam ajratmoqda.

Qo’shni Hindiston esa 5 million dollarlik ko’mak ko’rsatmoqda.

Pokistonning beshdan bir qisimini xonavayron qilgan toshqinlarda bugungacha 1600 ga yaqin odam halok bo’lgan.
