Nyu-Yorkdagi o’zbek matbuoti: “Vatandosh” gazetasi, “Uzbegim” jurnali

2011-yil AQShda yashovchi o’zbek jamoasi uchun xushxabardan boshlandi. Bu mamlakatda ilk bor o’zbek tilida gazeta va jurnal nashrdan chiqdi (Loyiha mualliflari bilan suhbatimizni audio fayldan tinglang).

Undan oldin esa Nyu-Yorkda o’zbek tilida radio va televideniye ham ochilgan.

Amerika matbuot va so’z erkinligi gullagan diyor sifatida gavdalanadi. Mamlakatda minglab gazeta-jurnallar, yuzlab tele va radiostansiyalar faoliyat yuritadi. Bu yildan boshlab ularning qatoriga o’zbek matbuoti ham qo’shildi.

Nyu-Yorkning Bruklin rayoni - Amerikada o’zbeklar eng ko’p yashaydigan hudud. Deyarli har qadamda gazeta kiosklari uchraydi. Ularda asosan rus tilidagi nashrlar sotiladi.

Endilikda kioskdan o’zbek tilida “Uzbegim” jurnali va “Vatandosh” gazetasini ham topish mumkin.

“Uzbegim”ning ilk soni shu yil Navro’zda chiqdi. Nyu-Yorkka safar qilgan kunim ikkinchi soni chop etildi.

Bruklindagi bosmaxonadan besh ming nusxada chiqadi. Maqolalar o’zbek tilida lotin va kiril yozuvlarida hamda rus va ingliz tillarida beriladi. Boshqa nashrlar 5-10 dollar atrofida sotilsa, “Uzbegim” jurnalining narxi ikki dollar.

Feruza Ro’zihoji 20 yildan beri Amerikada yashaydi. Oilasi kiosk qarshisidagi sumka va chemodan sotadigan do’konga egalik qiladi. Uning aytishicha, o’zbek tilidagi gazeta va jurnal yosh avlodni tarbiyalashda muhim rol o’ynashi kerak.

“Uzbegim” jurnalini yaratishda Ilhom Kenjaboyevning hissasi beqiyos. Bir yarim yil burun Nyu-Yorkda internet asosida o’zbek tilida televideniye va radio ochgandan so’ng hamma ham internet bilan tanish emasligini anglab yetdi.

O’zbekistonlik muhojir Ibrohim Musayevning aytishicha, o’zbek tilidagi matbuot Amerikaga kelayotgan ko’plab muhojirlar uchun foydali axborot manbaidir.

“Vatandosh” gazetasi jurnaldan sal oldin, fevralda chop etilgan. Bir oyda ikki marta, ba’zida uch ming, ba’zida besh ming nusxada chiqadi.

O’zbek madaniyati, tarixi, Amerikada ta’lim olish imkoniyatlari, o’zbek jamoalari faoliyati, okean ortida muvaffaqiyatga erishayotgan o’zbekistonliklar haqida ma’lumot beradi.

Gazetaga bank sohasida mutaxassis Farhod Sultonov asos solgan. Bu ishga biznes sifatida qarasa ham insonning o’zligi, tili, madaniyatini birlamchi deb hisoblaydi.

“Uzbegim” jurnali va “Vatandosh” gazetasidagi maqolalar mualliflari asosan AQShda o’qiyotgan, yashayotgan o’zbeklardir. Nashrlar reklama, mahalliy o’zbek tadbirkorlari saxiyligi hisobiga chop etiladi.

Amerikada o’zbeklar soni yil-sayin oshar ekan, “Uzbegim” va “Vatandosh” kabi nashrlarning olam yuzini ko’rishi ingliz tilini mukammal bilmaydigan muhojirlar uchun as qotishi turgan gap.
