Ambassador Pamela Spratlen served as America's top diplomat in Uzbekistan (2015-2018) and Kyrgyzstan (2011-2014). Ambassador George Krol was the top diplomat in Uzbekistan (2011-2014) and Kazakhstan (2015-2018). Ambassador Laura Kennedy served in Turkmenistan twice, 2001-2003 and 2014.
