Daniel Rozenblum AQShning O'zbekistondagi yangi elchisi etib tasdiqlandi

Daniel Rozenblum, AQSh Senatida, 23-avgust, 2018-yi

Uzoq yillar davomida AQShning Markaziy Osiyoga nisbatan siyosatida muhim rol o'ynab kelgan Daniel Rozenblum Toshkentda yangi elchi sifatida ish boshlaydi. Rozenblum may oyida qasamyod keltirgach Toshkentga yo'l oladi. O'tgan oktabr oyidan beri AQShning Toshkentdagi bosh diplomati vazifasida Alan Meltzer ishlab kelmoqda. U aslida elchi o'rinbosari.

2018-yilning 23-avgust kuni Rozenblum AQSh Senati qoshida so'zlab, o'z maqsadlarini tushuntirgan edi. 18-sentabr kuni Senatning Tashqi aloqalar bo'yicha qo'mitasi tasdig'idan o'tdi. Lekin uning nomzodi palatada ovozga qo'yilmadi, chunki noyabr oyida yangi Kongress saylandi. Tarkibi o'zgargan Senat 11-aprel kuni uning nomzodini ma'qulladi.

"Butunlay suveren O'zbekiston kim bilan qanday hamkorlik qilishni erkin tanlay olishi Amerika manfaatlari uchun xizmat qiladi", - degan edi Rozenblum qonunchilar oldida so'zlar ekan.

Uning fikricha, erkinlik va qonun ustuvorligi O'zbekistonni yorqin kelajak tomon yetaklovchi eng muhim omillardir.

Respublikada Prezident Shavkat Mirziyoyev boshchiligida keng qamrovli islohotlar boshlangan. Ularning ijobiy natijalar berishi uchun AQSh o'z hissasini qo'shishi, O'zbekiston xalqini yaqindan quvvatlashi kerak, dedi arbob.

"Elchilikka tayinlansam, AQSh Senatining Tashqi aloqalar bo'yicha qo'mitasi bilan hamkorlikda Amerika manfaatlarini targ'ib qilaman", - degan Rozenblum.

Xo'sh, diplomat nimalarni ko'zlamoqda?

  1. Afg'onistonda tinchlikni ta'minlash, mintaqa xavfsizligini himoya qilish, xalqaro muammolarga qarshi kurashda faollik ko'rsatish.
  2. O'zbekistonda islohotlar jadallashishi yo'lida harakat qilish. Hozirgiga qaraganda ko'proq madad ko'rsatish, barcha jabhalarda.
  3. Amerika xususiy sektorini jalb etib, investitsiya qilish uchun zarur sharoit yaratilishida ko'maklashish.
  4. Inson huquqlari va erkinlikni targ'ib qilish. Ijobiy o'zgarishlarni olqishlab, kamchilik va muammolarni konstruktiv tarzda tanqid qilib, tizim yaxshilanishiga hissa qo'shish.
  5. Ikki xalqni yaqinlashtirish - turli almashinuv dasturlari, madaniy va ilmiy programmalar orqali yoshlarga imkoniyatlar yaratish, hamjihatlik va o'zaro hamkorlikni mustahkamlash.

Rozenblum 2014-yildan beri AQShning Markaziy Osiyoga nisbatan diplomatiyasiga bosh-qosh edi. Ungacha Davlat departamentida turli boshqa lavozimlarda ham mintaqa, xususan O'zbekiston bilan ishlagan.

Kasaba uyushmalari va mehnat huquqlari bo'yicha ham tajriba ega, chunki bu yo'nalishlarda ham xizmat qilgan.

Rozenblum AQShning nufuzli Yel va Jons Hopkins universitetlarini bitirgan. Ohayo shtatidan ziyoli oilasidan chiqqan. Oilali, ikki farzandi bor.

Bu Rozenblumning birinchi elchilik lavozimi bo'ladi. Senatorlar uni savolga tutar ekan, Afg'oniston yuzasidan O'zbekiston bilan hamkorlik naqadar muhim ekaniga urg'u berdi.

Demokrat senator Jin Shahin O'zbekiston o'zgarayotgani, "ochilayotgani biz uchun juda ijobiy xabar va bundan bag'oyat mamnunmiz", - degan edi.

Boshqa senatorlar ham o'xshash fikrda. O'zbekiston-AQSh aloqalari mustahkam bo'lishi kerak, bugungacha erishilgan yutuqlarni boy bermaslik lozim, yangi elchidan bir tomondan hamkorlikni yanada kuchaytirish, ikkinchi tomondan esa AQSh uchun muhim qadriyat va maqsadlarni olg'a surish kutiladi.

Vashington siyosiy doiralari Rozenblumning O'zbekistonga elchi sifatida ketayotganidan xursand. Toshkentda ham munosabat ijobiy. Respublika rasmiylari o'zlariga tanish odam elchi bo'lib kelayotganidan mamnun. O'zbekiston hukumatida Pamela Spratlen elchiligida oldinga qo'yilgan ulkan qadamlar davom etaveradi, degan umid bor.
